Don’t be fooled it’s a DSP aka Delivery Service Provider who bought routes from Amazon to deliver packages. The DSP lost its contract, now they have to layoff the workers they hired to do the work/ deliver the packages. I know from personal experience these DPS’s could careless about the people they hire. Laundry List of complaints from workers 1. Minimal access to restrooms 2. Being attacked by dogs 3. Discrimination 4. Driving broken down vehicles 5. Favoritism 6. Back Breaking work 7. Paycheck Short Etc Etc……. S/O to the people still there trying to make a living for themselves and their families, I got out long time ago and refuse to go back

Always learn a trade. Even when life gets easier and you no longer have to do tradework...the trade will always welcome you back. Im 31 and have been a wleder since i was 15. Its made me a few small fortunes and lost em, im now a customer service rep for a loan place and work 2 other jobs on top of it. When my jobs get to the heading and want me to depart. You bet ill always have welding and many shops will welcome me back. I coulsnt imagine losing my LIFE JOB and not having a backup plan. I pray that more people understand that trades arent for everyone but you never know when you will have to say fuck it and get into the hard work of their lives. Quit being afraid to work hard, i promise you will be able to do the things you love and enjoy...it wont happen as much but know when you do get the time to enjoy your time off, you will remember everything you do with time off that was well earned. Ive rebuilt my life three times at 31, you guys can do it.

I work at a taco bell as a fryer. They made a robot that can fry foods and do it at really good pace. I raced the robots time and I was able to beat it being almost 2x as fast. At first I was proud but I thought of the logistics of using a machine for a job like mines. The robot doesn't get tired by the 6th hour, the robot doesn't need anothe person to take it's shift, it doesn't have bad days or have issues getting to work. The robot can work 24/7 at the same pace while I can only go maybe 4 hours at 100% efficientcy the robot doesn't get embarrassed when they make a mistake and feel the need to apologize or have a battle with its morals when kicking a homeless out of the stores restrooms. The robot although slower than me is quite possibly the ideal worker. Tomorrow the robot might be faster than me... But today I have a job to do and I'll do it untill I no longer have to.

There used to be a similar attitude towards cars (which replaced horses). Perhaps in the long run, when robots do all the work, they will be the slaves - not humans.
